On 1st July 2022, Wales Hanuman held its first Ratha Yatra in the community of velindre. The day consisted of traditional Hindu drumming followed by a small chariot procession around the streets of Velindre. The temple was occupied by key members of the community; Katrina Heery and Dawn Sways, Councilor Saifur Rahaman.
