Can I eat meat and visit the temple?
No. The sithapeedam kindly asks all devotees whose diet consists of eating meat to not eat any form of meat (including eggs, fish and poultry) a day before visiting.

What shall I bring to the temple?
Devotees are more than welcome to bring anything they like as long as the items do not contain meat, eggs, and poultry and are suitable to bring to a temple.
Unfortunately, we do not provide any accommodations. If you are traveling at night we always recommend you stay the night at a local hotel.
DO YOU PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION?
Will I be able to speak to Sri Paramasivarasa aya on the phone?
Unfortunately, you will not be able to speak to the swami on the phone, majority of the time the Swami will be meditating, any who wishes to speak to him will have to visit the Sithapeedam.
Can I Visit the temple during my menstrual cycle?
No, as part of The Hindu tradition we ask all devotees to plan visits before the start of their menstrual cycle or after it has finished.
