Our History
Wales Hanuman is a spiritual temple located in Velindre, Port Talbot. We are devoted to spreading the teaching of Lord Hanuman to the west. The temple was originally found by Sr Paramasivarasa Ayar after his mystical experience.
Orginally known as Sri Thanthondri Anjaneyar Sithapeedam, the temple first began in a small house in Pinner, later moving to Rayners Lane in England. The growth of the temples devotees led the temple to migrate to Port Talbot, where the temple gained its name as Wales Hanuman.

In 2019, the temple held its first Muhakumba Abshikam, celebrating a key milestone to the temple. As the temple grew the temple celebrated its first Ratha Yatra in 2022, a multicultural event which consisted of individuals from all faiths and backgrounds.
